Kalimpong sits above the Teesta on the Bengal side of NH10. From Bagdogra (IXB) it's about 70 km and 2½–3 hours; from NJP roughly 67 km. It's a natural pairing with Darjeeling (~50 km) and a common stop between the plains and Gangtok.
